Career commitment
A child of Villeneuve-la-Garenne, Manu created the MK Cup to give back to his town what football has given him. A tournament for 10 to 23-year-olds at the Philippe-Cattiau sports centre, but above all a village of five zones: jobs and entrepreneurship with recruiters (RATP, Jeune Afrique, Mozaïk RH, Les Déterminés…), football careers with Ligue 1 referees, journalists, physios and doctors, performance with his nutritionist and Meta VR headsets, culture with manga artist Tiers Monde, and a free closing concert (Guy2Bezbar in 2025).Supported by Gomu Burger, adidas, Meta, the Town of Villeneuve-la-Garenne and the La Passerelle association, the 2025 edition brought a whole town together, from amateur clubs to professional teams such as Paris FC.
“One day, I'd like people to be able to say: I saw Manu Koné, I found a job and I became an engineer or a minister.”Manu Koné
